NCKRI was born from a passion for protecting caves with their abundant research opportunities and diversity of resources.

Meeting Space

Are you a business looking for a meeting, conference, or training space? Maybe you want to arrange a party or social event for family and friends?

NCKRI has a variety of meeting spaces to meet your needs in one of Carlsbad’s newest, most attractive, and more centrally placed locations.

Large Groups

Our Classroom seats over 150 people theater-style, or 72 people in tables and chairs classroom-style, or over 200 people in an open social-mingling style. It includes two ceiling-mounted projectors, 2D and 3D, a top-notch sound system, plus a kitchen area with a sink, microwave, serving counter, and a refrigerator with a freezer.

Medium Groups

Our classroom can be divided in half, one side with the 2D projector and kitchen area, and the other with the 3D projector.

Small Groups

Our Board Room has a long table that seats 16 in comfortable chairs, and with a large monitor at one end of the room and speakerphone for teleconferencing.

Special Groups and Activities

When not filled with exhibits, our large Exhibit Hall is available for special events, such as banquets, poster meetings, and meal serving lines for Classroom meetings. Celebrate Independence Day on our second-floor balcony and connected rooms—the best view in town to enjoy the July 4th fireworks!

Other available amenities include podiums, stage, microphones, poster/dry erase boards, blu-ray player, and free WiFi.
